How Online Visits Work
Getting care from Y-City Telemedicine takes 3 easy steps: book and pay online, complete your intake forms, and join your video visit with Abby Guirguis, APRN-CNP. Patients in Ohio are often seen within 30 minutes, 7 days a week from 8 am to 8 pm.
What happens in each step?
Book and pay
Choose a visit time on our secure scheduling page and pay by credit card. Urgent care visits are $100.
Complete your intake forms
Fill out your health history and consent forms online before your visit, so Abby is ready when you connect.
Join your video visit
At your appointment time, open the video visit link from your phone or computer. Abby will review your symptoms, ask questions, and talk through a treatment plan with you.
What do I need for my visit?
- A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone
- A reliable internet connection
- A quiet, private place to talk
- A list of your current medications and allergies
- Your preferred pharmacy's name and location
How do prescriptions work?
If Abby decides a prescription is medically appropriate, she sends it electronically to the pharmacy you choose. For GLP-1 weight loss programs, medication is sent to our partner pharmacy and shipped to your door, usually within a couple of business days.
What if I need labs or imaging?
Abby can order lab work, X-rays, CT scans, or MRIs at a location near you, then review the results with you and talk about next steps. She can also refer you to a specialist if needed.
Where do I need to be during the visit?
You must be physically located in Ohio at the time of your visit. If you're in Florida, you can book through Tropical Telemedicine.
Is my information private?
Yes. Your intake forms and video visit use secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms, and your health information is protected under federal privacy law. Read our Notice of Privacy Practices.
When is telehealth not the right choice?
Telehealth is not for emergencies. If you have chest pain, trouble breathing, signs of a stroke, severe pain, or another emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
